We Are Hiring Summer Staff!
If you are detail-oriented, at ease with people, and eager to learn how concerts are run, joining the Music Mountain Festival Staff may be a great learning opportunity for you. Applicants should be at least 16 years of age by May 15 of this year.
Music Mountain has been home to riveting chamber music performances since 1930, and jazz since 1987. Music Mountain Staff regularly interact with our loyal audience and stellar performing artists.
Dates:
May 20 - September 15, 2024.
It is possible to work only weekends if you are in school.
Hours:
Sunday Afternoons, 5 hour shift, June 2 through Sept 15, at concerts.
Saturday Late Afternoon/Evenings, 5 hour shift, June 29 through Sept 7 at concerts.
Possibly additional time during the week as available for the term.

Salary:
$17/hour, less applicable payroll and withholding taxes, payable biweekly.

2024 Events:
Music Mountain’s 2024 Summer Festival presents chamber music concerts on 16 consecutive Sundays at 3 PM from June 2 through September 15; and jazz concerts on 12 consecutive Saturdays at 7 PM from June 22 through September 7. We will present five additional events on concert dates: three pre-concert talks and a family concert on select Sundays at 2 PM, and Painting Music, a community event, on Saturday, July 6, at 11:30 AM. All concerts are indoors, in Gordon Hall, at 225 Music Mountain Rd, Falls Village, CT. Sunday concerts include lawn seating, in front of Gordon Hall.
