Postponed due to weather. New Date:
Sunday, September 11, 3:00 p.m.
Because of the potential danger to audience and artists alike from Hurricane Irene, we have taken the extraordinary step of POSTPONING Sunday’s concert by the Daedalus String Quartet and Soyeon Lee to Sunday, September 11 at 3pm.
The program will be changed to present three piano quartets, including, of course, the Brahms Piano Quartet in G minor, Opus 25, as originally scheduled.
The delay in deciding on the final program is that Soyeon Lee is in Seoul and the Daedalus Quartet is in New York.
You may be interested to learn that in Music Mountain’s entire 82 years this will be the first concert delayed by weather.
I hope all will come to hear Soyeon, the 2010 Naumburg award winner, play with this brilliant quartet on September 11.
